Coached in the 1995 National Championship Game in the Fiesta Bowl vs. Nebraska.
Coached on three SEC championship teams (1993, 1994, 1995).
His first three Gator offensive line units have been a critical component in Florida’s offensive proficiency. The 1995 offense set a school and SEC record for points (534) and touchdowns (73), threw an SEC record 48 touchdown passes, recorded 24 rushing touchdowns, the second-best mark in school history, while registering 327 first downs, the best season total in SEC history. The '95 squad ranked second in the nation in passing offense (360.8 ypg), third in scoring offense (44.5 ppg) and fourth in total offense (534.4 ypg).
The 1994 Gator offense set school and SEC records for points (521) and touchdowns (69), and finished second in the nation in scoring offense (43.4 ppg.), fourth in passing offense (311.7 ypg.) and eighth in total offense (462.8 ypg.).
The 1993 Gator offense set a SEC record with 5,719 yards of total offense and Errict Rhett led the SEC in rushing with 1,289 yards.
The 1993 offense set a SEC record for most first downs in a season (298).
